Genuine Italy Chianti Classico Castello di Cacchiano
90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo-Malvasia Nera-Colorino, 5% Merlot
From Monti, Siena-Italy; the grapes are gathered by hand and made into wine according to strict and traditional Classico methods, then matured for at least a year in Slavonic oak barrels and in French oak “tonneaux”. After it has been bottled, it is refined for a further 3 months. The wine has a strong fruity aroma, an average structure and a good all-around acid content, rounded and well balanced. It is a perfect accompaniment to antipasti, first courses in light sauces and second course based on white meat, roast meat and even fish.
